COUNTY COMMISSIONER POST 1, OZ NESBITT, SR. KEYNOTES ROCKDALE MLK CELEBRATION
The Rockdale/Conyers Chamber of Commerce and Rockdale County NAACP have tapped Rockdale County Commissioner Oz Nesbitt, Sr. for their annual breakfast commemorating Martin Luther King's Birthday.
The event is scheduled Monday, January 18, 2010, 7:45 AM at the Longhorn Steakhouse located at I-20 and West Avenue
"We're expecting a huge crowd for this year's celebration," said Fred Boscarino, President of the Rockdale/Conyers Chamber of Commerce. "This is our seventh year hosting the MLK celebration with the Rockdale NAACP. The joint sponsorship has become a community tradition .Appropriately, we have asked our County Commissioner Post 1, Oz Nesbitt, Sr. to speak, and we are very pleased that he has accepted our invitation. We look forward to hearing his message. The public is invited to attend this important observance of Martin Luther King Day free of charge.
