"Super Seminar" - Southeast Festivals & Events Association

The Southeast Festivals and Events Association (SFEA) will host a One-Day “Super” Seminar on Wednesday, July 26th at the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers, GA.  This seminar on steroids will include stimulating speakers, a vendor trade show and an evening dinner/networking social.

Keynote speaker will be Jeff English, Senior Vice President and General Counsel for the Kentucky Derby Festival, Louisville, KY. He is charged with overseeing all the Festival’s legal issues and serving as its risk management officer. Jeff will discuss some of the complex legal issues facing the festival and event industry.

You will also learn how to do an economic impact study for your event from Greg Fuson of Chandler Thinks, Caitlin Smith will share how to market your event using street team promotions, Necie Brown will reveal her secrets for creating a new community event. A panel of seasoned industry experts will help you solve your toughest festival problems.

 We’ll end the day with dinner and networking at beautiful Cherokee Run Golf Club on the grounds of the Horse Park.
