Event Description:
Rockdale CASA is a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of children in foster care through volunteer-based advocacy. Since 1996 Rockdale CASA has been a valuable community partner in the child welfare system.
CASA is committed to effective leadership and high-quality advocacy for children who have experienced abuse or neglect so that each child's best interests are presented to the court when making life-altering decisions.
CASA volunteers increase abused and neglected children’s access to services, promote safety, and advocate for timeliness and permanency for children involved in juvenile court proceedings. CASA volunteers are independent advocates and provide individualized attention for children in a massive state system.
Next Training Session January 9, 2020-February 27, 2020
Classes are held Thursdays from 9:00am-12:00pm
